Trying to renew, asked Do you have coupon…. So I googled WordPress renewal coupons… eventually got some. But not sure really what this is…and the one I tried did not work. Please advise.

We sometimes run promotions for discounts on various upgrades. However, there are no active discount (coupon) codes that I know of at this time.
You can safely ignore the coupon field.

I received a phone call on way out the door to take are of my parents… please extend until i get an answer.. i do want to renew, but d not have time to complete process and questions remain

I would like to renew and I would like the best value for the premium option. Don’t know if it’s expired or not at this point.

Your upgrades appears to all have expired on 2014-04-09.
I would encourage you to not delay on renewing. If your domains end up in the registrar’s “redemption” period, they will incur an $80 late feel. This is something we have no control over and cannot waive. So we really encourage people to avoid that if at all possible. You can find more information on the domain expiration process here:

When does this late fee occur? I have been attempting to renew since before the renewal date. I need to supply new payment info, but I do not want to do this if I end up with 80.00 fee. That would not feel right …. thanks for your response.

As described at the link I posted above, the grace period (after expiration but before the late fee) is about two weeks. To be on the safe side, and to eliminate any confusion, I try and tell people that it is 10 days.
I would encourage you to renew as soon as possible. The $80 late fee is frustrating, but there is nothing that we at WordPress.com can do to waive it as it comes from the registrar.
