Where do I find archives of my expired blog hosted on Active Domain?

    Please help me if you can. I used Word Press to post content on http://www.theconservativerevolution.com and it was hosted by Active Domain. My domain expired and now I can’t access my years of blog content on Word Press. How do I find and save the archives of all those posts? I want to transfer that content to a blogspot or just save it in a word file. My admin site was http://www.theconservativerevolution.com/wp-admin or something like that, but now I don’t have access to it.

    This support forum is only for blogs hosted at WordPress.com. If your domain expired that’s an issue between you and the registrar you purchased the domain from.

    I understand that, but the content was created on Word Press and I’m wondering where I find all those years of content. Is it saved by the domain, or by Word Press? Thanks!

    You need to make friends with your old host. WordPress.COM (here) knows nothing about your old site.

    If you are really lucky you old host kept some archive backups of your old site and you can convince them to send you a copy. The problem will then be how to get them back online as the format will not be one that you can import directly to here or Blogger.

    You will probably need to make friends and get help over at WordPress.ORG to get the files back online. You might need to set up a new web site all together on another host. Or maybe you could talk your old host into reloading your site with some sort of temporary address and then you could export the contents and import the contents into a new site.
