Hi @amycmyers
These are the name servers of WordPress.com.
ns1.wordpress.com ns2.wordpress.com ns3.wordpress.comFor more information, check here:

Hi amycmyers,
Domain mapping will connect an existing domain to the site you have created on WordPress.com. You will need to purchase a paid plan, then follow the steps listed in the support documentation @wpx2 linked to:
https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Gemmacevans: I guess I’m confused….does WP no longer have free accts on wordpress.com
That’s what I had just 2 weeks ago….has that changed now? -
Hi amycmyers,
WordPress.com accounts are free and we still offer the option to create a free site but certain features like custom domains are only available through paid plans. These plans include a domain credit which will cover the domain mapping cost.
I hope this clears things up.
