How do I find the “Add New” theme button?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey there
All you need to do is go to:
jamiecarlinwatson.wordpress.com/wp-admin/themes.php
There you will find the option to switch to a theme to your liking. There is no “add theme” option on WordPress.com (only on WordPress.org)

Hey there
Unfortunately, WordPress.com does not support the uploading of custom themes on their platform. Your only option would be to use a self hosted installation of WordPress from WordPress.org.
More information about this can be found here:

Thank you. One more thing because I don’t think I understand. I bought the theme precisely BECAUSE it was designed for WordPress. It is a WordPress theme. If it is not designed for my blog site, what is it designed for? What is the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org? And is there something that tells me all this info?

No problem! The big difference between .com and .org is the fact that WordPress.com hosts your blog for you and handles all the technical details on your behalf while WordPress.org is a self hosted installation that you would need to buy hosting for etc.
Thankfully, WordPress.cm has a great article on the differences here:

The only themes we can use on WordPress.com blogs like your blog are licensed and adapted to run on our multiuser software the themes are found here http://wordpress.com/themes/
There is no FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs for security reasons and we cannot:
upload any third party themes,
create child themes,
create our own themes,
edit templates,
create own own layouts,
or use stylesheets from other themes.Relevant support docs:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/adding-new-themes/Comparison of wordpress.com vs wordpress.org
http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/There is no upgrade you can purchase that changes that. WordPress.org offers free software that you can install on a web server. You can create themes, upload and install themes and plugins, run ads, and edit the database, etc. If you want FTP access and to install plugins or third party themes into a site then you will have to hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up your own WordPress.org install.

Thanks, Mike.
And thanks, timethief. I don’t know what FTP access is, but I’m going to find someone I can pay to do all this for me.

You could hire a code poet. Code Poet is a directory of WordPress professionals, web designers, and developers brought to you by Automattic, the company behind WordPress.com and the largest operator of WordPress sites http://directory.codepoet.com/
