Where do I find which version of WordPress that is installed?

  Hi, blogs hosted on WordPress.com do not display any “version number” because the software used here is automatically updated with no action required by the users.

  If you have a self-hosted blog and wish to know the version of the software running on it, you can find it as soon as you log-in, on your “At a glance” section.

  Since a lot of people here usually get confused between the two versions of WordPress, I’m also including a link that explains the differences:
