Where do I get the monthly subscription?

I want to upgrade from WordPress.com’s free plan, but I noticed that there is no subscription available. Is there any way to get a monthly subscription?

Click on “upgrades” in the left hand menu. There is a dropdown to change from annual to monthly but DON’T do that unless you want to pay double, have no support and miss out on a free custom domain for the first year.
