Where do I paste Mailchimp popup html in editor?
-
Have created a popup/email signup form in Mailchimp:
<script type=”text/javascript” src=”//s3.amazonaws.com/downloads.mailchimp.com/js/signup-forms/popup/embed.js” data-dojo-config=”usePlainJson: true, isDebug: false”></script><script type=”text/javascript”>require([“mojo/signup-forms/Loader”], function(L) { L.start({“baseUrl”:”mc.us8.list-manage.com”,”uuid”:”fe638189420971f4b411964c8″,”lid”:”109da916d6″}) })</script>
I would like this popup to appear when you enter the blog http://www.parcelhub.co.uk/category/blog/ and on any blog posts, but not on the rest of the site.
Is this doable?

We cannot use that code for the Mailchimp plugin on any WordPress.COM blog but there is a workaround. There is no FTP access and no blogger installed plugin capability on any free hosted WordPress.com blogs and there is no upgrade you can purchase here that changes that reality.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/
http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/If you want FTP access and to install plugins or third party themes into a site then you will have to hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up your own WordPress.org install.
For a WordPress.COM blog you can create a sign up page on MailChimp directly and simply link to it. Here’s a link to their instructions http://kb.mailchimp.com/article/how-to-add-a-mailchimp-signup-form-to-your-wordpress-blog

Thanks for the swift answer. My website isn’t a blog though, it’s a WordPress site built using a theme I bought off Themeforest – http://www.parcelhub.co.uk – This site already has newsletter signup forms on it, but I just wanted to find out which section of the editor I need to paste the code in to.

Hi again,
Okay so that’s not a WordPress.COM hosted blog and you are posting to the wrong support forum. I’m sorry but we cannot help as that site is not hosted by WordPress.COM and those are the only blogs we provide support for. In the future do not post here for support.WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there.

WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page -
Ok thank you for these tips though for if I do go down that route, have bookmarked this post. Thanks
