where do i update my social media links?

  i forgot a final backslash in my twitter address so it doesn’t work. now i can’t find where i entered it. i’ve been looking for an hour

  Hello,

  You can find the social media widget by going to your admin page. You would type in /wp-admin after your sites URL like so:

  hopefieldlearn.wordpress.com/wp-admin

  Once there, click on appearance, then widgets. You should see your social media widget listed. Make changes and save.

  but actually, now that i look at it again. i see that there is a footer below the footer on my blog. both have social media icons. and the lower footer is the original one i was having trouble with and i still don’t know how to fix it. plus having two footers looks bad.

  HELP!?!!

  a different query now. most of my blogs display a preview consisting of the first few lines. some display the latin phrases my old web developer put in as a placesaver, i guess. we just moved all the content over from another wordpress site that he built for me.

  so the question is: how can i get rid of the weird latin and have these final blogs look like the others in the menu, with the first few lines of my writing visible? if you’re able to help i’d be super grateful

  Okay, first let me say that I am extremely beginner, but find it enjoyable to help. Often times, I’m clicking around trying to make sense of what’s asked, when I don’t understand it myself.

  I do know that the Latin you speak of is just filler. The link below explains what it is and why it is used.
