Where do my posts appear?? I cant see them?

    I have been using mainly “pages” on my blog, but am considering doing some posts. I tried a “test” run but I can not see where it appears? Is it supposed to be on the front page? I have elected a different page to be my home page?

    Also I was hoping to put posts on certain pages instead of on the front page. Does that work?

    Usually the front of a blog is its main posts area (= all latest posts). Now that you’ve set a page as your front, you’ve banished that area. You can have it again (without abandoning your static front) if you create a new BLANK page, title it “Posts” or whatever you see fit, and set it as your “posts page” (in Settings>Reading).

    If you don’t want a subject mix-up in your posts area, you can avoid creating the posts page: file your posts under appropriate categories and add the Categories widget. That way visitors will only be able to access posts via the category tabs in your sidebar.
