where do Possibly related posts: (automatically generated) come from
-
Hi All,
I m new to the blog scene and am fascinated by one of my one of my posts …(http://debthelpsolutions.wordpress.com/2008/09/17/debt-management/#comment-8)….which seems to have picked up the following: Possibly related posts: (automatically generated).
i cant see it in the code, i cant see someone requesting for me to let them put content on my blog and am at a loss as to what i did to get it on there.
can anyone shed some light as to how this happened and why?
cheers

They come from the mysterious workings of wordpress.com, presumably based on tags, categories and content. Possibly related posts is a feature which you can disable on your blog. On your dashboard go to Design – Extras and then check the box to hide automatically generated related content.

On a blog like yours I’d definitely disable it. It’s just as likely to come up with posts from people in debt, people recommending loan sharks, and so on as it is to come up with other useful debt help links.
