Where does autosave reside?
-
I made an update to a page. I thought it was saved and implemented, but I had to leave where I was at in some haste and didn’t get a chance to verify it until now, nearly 12 hours later.
When I logged in I discovered that my changes had not, in fact, been saved. However the system did say there was a more recent autosave. Okay. No problem. I called it up.
The more recent autosave did have the missing material, but there appeared to be no effective way to select it over the list of some 15 odd previous autosaves.
When I tried, I actually successfully reverted my page to a point EARLIER than the one I was trying to replace. And now the autosave feature was gone, with no obvious way to get back to it.
Am I really out all that information which I now have to waste time recreating from the ground up? Or is there another way to re-enter autosave and get back what was lost.
