where does community forum stuff show up publicly?

Many years ago, when we first created our WordPress site, I appreciated SO much the superb expert help I received from the community forums.
But all seems very different now with support options, so before asking for help again, just wanted to check where exactly my questions & your answers will show up publicly?
Our small nonprofit has had our WordPress site for many years & we’ve never had any trouble with it, so haven’t needed to reach out to anyone until now.
