Where does the import go?

i am trying to import my blog, and it says that is has imported it but I dont know where the imported file goes? Can anyone help me on this one?

Technical answer – if it imported your blog entries they are in the database
Non-Technical answer – they are available to view under your Admin (dashboard) – Manage – Posts.Trent

It says they are imported but their not under the manage posts. So i don’t know if they aren’t the right format or what.
