  media: pictures will not insert. all that comes is file words. i have followed and refollowed directions. old pictures that i have inserted in other posts do not work either, so it’s not the picture.

  I’m still seeing photos on the front end of your blog, so I’m wondering if your editor got switched to the “text” view rather than the visual view.

  When you go to edit one of the posts where the photo isn’t displaying correctly, look up in the upper right corner of the edit window and click the word “visual.”

  If that fixes it, great! If not, could you take a screen shot of what you see, and post it here?

  Since you are having trouble with images on your site, it might be easier to share the screenshot to the forum using this tool: http://snag.gy/ rather than uploading it to your media library as the support document suggests.

  The problem is with a new post that i am trying to post. Pictures will not insert, all i get inserted is words. There is a visual icon during this process and i have tried clicking it, but get the same results.

  Yes, it is as @lizthefair suspected. You are in the Text Editor tab of the Post Editor where you will see only the code “img src=”, not the image itself.

  If you look at your screenshot, you can see another tab to the left of it called “Visual.” Click on it and you should see your inserted image in your post editor.

  Well, THAT was easy! Thank you! i thought i had tried that! Apparently, not. i suppose frustration gets the better of my abilities. Thank you again.
