Where has my monthly business plan gone?

Hello, I hope someone can help me. This issue is fairly urgent.
When I signed up, I signed up for a monthly business plan. I paid for a theme, and spent a long time customising it.
Without any warning my plan has gone, my website is down, my theme and hard work gone. I can’t even access my wordpress email. There seems to be no way for me to manage my subscription and I get prompted to “Upgrade” to the pro plan, and pay yearly?! What’s going on.
As far as I can see, when I signed up for the monthly business plan, a contract was signed between both parties. And now WordPress have decided the Business plan is no longer available? What about my theme, my custom domain, my email address?
On top of this, it appears there is currently no way to “live chat” with the support team, hence why I am writing here.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Your monthly Business plan expired on March 22 when it wasn’t renewed. We sent several email warnings both before and shortly after it expired.
Since then, our pricing and plan structure has changed, and we no longer offer monthly plans: https://wordpress.com/pricing/

Thanks for the reply. I can’t see any emails regarding this subject. Also, what’s the reason for the subscription expiring, as I assumed as it was monthly, I wouldn’t have to physically renew it every month, that it would be automatic.
Please could you renew my subscription and restore it to the previous, as it is a bit of a coincidence that my monthly plan would expire at the same time you change your business model to yearly plans (which is an absolutely bizarre decision and frankly one of the worst I’ve seen from a company in terms of customer service).
I would appreciate your support in this matter, as it’s causing me a big headache, and I’ve basically lost all functionality and everything I’ve invested into the site is gone.

what’s the reason for the subscription expiring, as I assumed as it was monthly, I wouldn’t have to physically renew it every month, that it would be automatic.
We attempted to renew your plan on 22 March, and again on 24, 26, and 28 March. The renewals failed because the charges were declined by your bank/credit card company, so you’ll need to contact them for details on why that happened.
We sent an email explaining that automatic renewal failed, and that you’ll need to renew manually, on 23 March, after the initial renewal attempt failed. If you didn’t receive that, it might have gone into Spam, or if you’re using Gmail it might be in the Social or Updates folder in the inbox.

Your plan expired on 22 March, and was removed from your account 7 days later, on 29 March, after our final renewal attempt failed.
Our switch to the new plans happened only after that, and isn’t related to your plan expiring.
I have restored the monthly Business Plan to your site. Please go to https://wordpress.com/me/purchases and renew it within 48 hours, or it will expire again. If the plan expires and gets removed from your account again, we won’t be able to restore it a second time.
