Where has the advanced image editor gone?

How do I add padding to an image? Or force a linked image to open in a new window? Or add a border? Or any of the other things I used to be able to do with the Advanced Settings tab of the image editor that has now apparently disappeared?

And that thread would be very useful, if it addressed any of my concerns, or yours.
Except it doesn’t, and the mods are closing all the threads asking this question, referring us to that thread that has no answers.
Not great customer service from these so-called “Happiness Engineers.”

Yeah, that’s the ‘official’ thread for the moment. Let’s hope they come up with some answers – I’m not happy about having to hand-code every image I post now. That’s half the reason I chose to use WordPress in the first place.

Our developers have added border and margin options to the Advanced Options as seen in the screenshot below:
