Where has the editing bar gone from the new post page?

When i write a new post the bar with the links/editing has gone. Also adding a picture has become a lot more complex. Why is this?

Which ‘New Post” page are you using?
Use the one from Dashboard >> Posts >> Add New if you aren’t already.
Some of the others from various NavBar links have been reported to be flaky.

hi, yes I’ve done that, and all that is displayed is the add media or poll button, the rest has disappeared. any ideas?
