Where have these 'Not found' errors come from? How can I remove them?
-
I have linked http://oaklandstherapy.com/ up with google webmaster tools.
They are reporting that two pages are ‘Not found’ even though the pages are not in my sitemap.
The pages are http://oaklandstherapy.com/feed and http://oaklandstherapy.com/comments/feed.
Should I create blank pages with these names to remove the errors? The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
The two links you posted are your site’s post and comment feeds. You can read more about what those are for here: Feeds
I’m not sure why Google is reporting those as “Not found” — I see your feeds working just fine at those links. It could be that’s happening because you don’t currently have any published posts or comments on your site. If you don’t plan to publish posts or comments, you should be able to just ignore those “not found” messages.

Thank you for getting back to me and shedding some light on this issue. It is concerning to be told there are ‘errors’ when as a beginner I am trying to do things correctly and can not judge how serious it is.
Have I understood from your reply that the page http://oaklandstherapy.com/feed, for example, exists somewhere in the background html code of the Suburbia theme, to which I have no access? -
I understand your concern, and I’m glad I could help clear up what’s going on. :)

That feed page is actually created by WordPress.com and exists for all WordPress.com blogs. You’re right that it’s created in the background, so to speak, so it isn’t something you can directly modify.
