Where is ‘Just Another WordPress Site’ hidden in the file structure.
-
Hi,
I have an issue. I use BeTheme and have the Yoast SEO plugin. Both of those write a meta description to the site. I had always thought that Yoast would overwrite the one from the theme.
I have changed the theme’s meta description in the theme customisation and that appears on the homepage. On all other pages, posts etc, if I leave the SEO entries blank, then it defaults to ‘Just Another WordPress Site.’ which I cannot see.If I then enter the SEO information using Yoast then that creates a second meta description and does not overwrite the ‘Just Another…’
I would like to delete the ‘Just Another…’ off all my pages. Doing that manually would involve moving everything from Yoast to the BeTheme SEO entry on every page and would take an age.
The simpler thing to do would be to delete ‘Just another…’ from wherever it is hidden in WordPress. Is that possible? If so, what is the file location please?

Hi there,
Your site is not hosted on WordPress.com, but using the open source WordPress.org software at another hosting provider.
Please contact support for the plugin and/or theme you’re using directly for help with this. We don’t make either of those products, so we cannot help you with how they work.
For general help with the version of WordPress you’re using, you can ask the WordPress.org community over at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
