Where is my 9/19/2011 draft?

    I started my most recent post on 9/17/2011, and saved the draft to add to later. This afternoon, from 5 pm to around 9:30 pm, I was engaged in finishing up the draft, and discovered that everything I had written had disappeared into the ether, DESPITE having frequently (maybe even obsessively) saved and resaved the effort while I was in the midst of writing it.

    My Firefox browser (Firefox 6.0.2) is completely up to date, so I don’t think that’s the problem. My 2010 laptop is a very vintage Mac. In the year that I’ve owned it, it hasn’t given me any problems whatsoever.

    The internet service where I’ve been writing from has been working just fine for the other users of the household today (and yesterday, and the day before that).

    Please advise.
