where is my blog?

  I am new to blogging. I have categorized my posts. When I search in the tags, my blogs don’t come up in the results. Am I doing something wrong? Isn’t categorizing your posts the same as tagging it?

  To answer the question in reverse: Yes it is when you’re here at wp.com. No, you’re doing nothing wrong.

  There have been a couple of glitches recently I believe. You might be hitting another “feature” though. Users dont see their own posts on tag pages when they’re logged in. I mean, you know what you said don’t you? ;) Try this:

  Log out and then go back to your blog. Try the tag again and see if you can see the posts you are making.

  You might also find that you are posting in popular categories. With 500,000 + blogs, things like “health” are fairly fast moving. It might just be that your post is disappearing because posts are being made after yours in the same category.

  Or I could just be spouting BS, in which case I would ignore this post and send feedback into staff. ;)
