Please let me know what needs to be done to fix the problem. Could you also let me know if the email (email visible only to moderators and staff) is showing as the main contact? I haven’t received any notifications regarding my subscription.

trabalharnoexterior.com is not registered with WordPress.com, but with fastdomain.com and hosted with Bluehost, based on the Whois data. It also appears to have expired on 19 September.
You need to contact fastdomain.com for help with that domain, as we don’t have any control over or access to it.

Hello, thank you so much for your help. I have renewed with Bluehost, but was not able to find anything via fastdomain. If I try to “buy” the domain it appears as not for sale, which means the domain is still withheld somewhere? Sorry I have no one else to ask, would you be able to point me in the right direction?

Your domain is now showing as having been registered on 10 December at Namebright.com. So what most likely happened here is that the domain was either released, or it was sold at auction by fastdomain.com during the redemption period, and now someone else owns it.
The new owner has private registration enabled with Namebright, but you can try contacting them if you want to buy the domain back from them:

It might be simpler to register a different domain instead.

– I took your suggestion and purchased an alternative domain, trabalharnoexterior.net
– I purchased (renewed?) a “personal” account $53 yearly mebership with wordpress
How do I put all the pieces together now?
Is there a step by step guide somewhere? I am hopeful that all my blog trabalharnoexterior.com will be backed up and retrievable to use with the new domain trabalharnoexterior.net? Would that be possible? -
Your site is with Bluehost, so we don’t have any access to it. It looks like you currently have a brand new Bluehost site at that domain. You’ll need to contact Bluehost’s support to link the domain back to your old site with them. We are not able to help with that.
The plan you bought from us is not a WordPress.com plan, but a Jetpack plan. Jetpack is a plugin that’s installed on the new Bluehost site you created, and connects that site to your WordPress.com account so you can edit it while logged in here. But it doesn’t give us any access to your Bluehost site.
The Jetpack plan you bought adds security and backup features to the Bluehost site, that’s all. Once you have the domain connected to the correct site you can keep using the Jetpack plan, or I can cancel and refund it for you if you don’t actually want that.
But to get your new domain connected to your old site you need Bluehost’s help, not ours.
