where is my blog
-
My blog is missing from my profile (two that I’ve never really done more than a handful of posts are still there) but the personal family blog I’ve been doing for 7.5 years is not on my profile. I’ve been paying more and more every year – but I can’t access any of these ‘super happy to help me’ people and I have had no notification of what has happened to my blog. And why can I not contact customer support? The hundreds of dollars I’ve given you doesn’t make me important enough for support?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

What is the URL of the site you are referring to?
Exactly which username account registered the site?Is this the URL of the site in question https://sugarfreekids.wordpress.com/? If it is note the Written by runningmelon there.
-
no that is not the URL that’s one of the ones that is still on my profile that clearly isn’t in use.
the blog is still readable – just missing from my profile so I can’t add posts.

Unfortunately you failed to confirm the most important thing for getting accurate support and it is the exact URL of the site in question and the username account that registered it. We cannot help you unless or until we can ascertain both and confirm hosting.
To save you time you can type the actual URL of the site you are referring to into http://whoishostingthis.com to determine who hosts the site so you know where to post for support.
We do not provide support for local installs of WordPress.ORG software, or for WordPress.ORG software installs on paid hosting, linked to WordPress.COM accounts with the Jetpack plugin so they display on the My Sites WordPress.COM account page. However, about 30% of those who post here every day are posting to the wrong support forum and must be redirected to the correct support forum.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
wordpress.org support
The wordpress.ORG support forum is at http://wordpress.org/support. The wordpress.ORG login link is here https://login.wordpress.org/ If you do not have an account yet then click Create an account https://login.wordpress.org/register/ and if you have lost an account password click Lost password? https://login.wordpress.org/lostpassword/
WordPress.org support docs are at https://codex.wordpress.org/Main_Page
See also https://apps.wordpress.org/support/ for app support. All sites that are hosted by WordPress.COM with upgraded plans include access to live chat support. https://wordpress.com/help/contact At times when all operators are busy or unavailable, you’ll be able to get through to private email support.

it’s wordpress.com
because it’s missing from my profile it doesn’t come up as where I’m posting from because it is not there.
are you an actual support person or just someone from the forums?
when I click on the help/contact link it takes me back to these forums

I am a longtime Volunteer of over 11 years who predates all support documentation and all support Staff being on Staff except for one member. You failed to provide the exact URL of the site starting with http;:// and that is required to get support here or anywhere online.
Are you referring to this site https://leapingzucchini.wordpress.com/ that I found by using Google search?
Do you see that site at the My Blogs link? https://en.support.wordpress.com/my-blogs/
What I post below applies only to sites hosted by WordPress.COM.
You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard. The Admin login link to the dashboard for every blog hosted by WordPress.COM is:
http://NAME_OF_BLOG.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
* You will have to replace “name_of_blog” with the actual blog’s name in that URL.
If you are not logged in under the correct username account then clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies and then login correctly under the relevant username account.
You can update your email address here https://wordpress.com/me at any time.
If you did not register the site under your username account and do not have the required access, then you need to contact the person who registered the account and site under it, and have them act or transfer the site to your username account by using this process. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account
If the login information has been lost go to
https://en.support.wordpress.com/passwords/
https://en.support.wordpress.com/passwords/#lost-passwordThere is only one means of account recovery.
If you check each and every possible email address and account and are not successful gaining access to the blog(s) then you must complete the form for account recovery at this link https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery and submit it to the Account Recovery Staff, and provide proof ownership, so they can contact you by email ie. not on these public support forums, which are available to everyone with internet access.
Support Staff cannot breach the privacy policy and provide the log-in information. You have to provide proof ownership to Account Recovery Staff to gain access https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/
If you are then read on.when I click on the help/contact link it takes me back to these forums
Yes and that is because it is a weekend. All sites that are hosted by WordPress.COM with upgraded plans include access to live chat support. https://wordpress.com/help/contact At times when all operators are busy or unavailable, you’ll be able to get through to private email support.
