Where is my Blog ID please?

I found this question was asked over a year ago but never resolved — even though it was closed. So I would like to know where I can find the Blog ID please? I want to use BlogDesk but if I put my blog URL into it ask it to search for the Blog ID it comes up with nothing. I would like to enter it manually, but can’t seem to find it in the set-up.

Do any other BlogDesk users out there know where I can locate my blog(s) id?

Typically what the offline editors are looking for is an entry point to your blog. In the case of your blog, it would be:

http://http://oldschoolmusiclover.wordpress.com/xmlrpc.php

I now see what you are talking about. When going through the set up where you select blog type, click on the wordpress without the (<2) and then go through the setup. It found my id just fine when I hit the search button. Go through it again. It may have been a temporary glitch.

Ok – I must be is “stupid” mode this week. Anyway I still could not find my Blog ID using your direction thesacredpath. I also tried to let Blog Desk find it automatically again but it does not work. All in this thread (link shown below) seem to have BlogDesk working with WordPress.
I have come back to trying to make it work since I thought I could make my posts in it, upload them and it would save a copy as my backup. I need a fullproof backup system now since that past week’s horrific experience.
Could the BlogID perhaps have been moved someplace else – since yesterday I have a brand new WordPress.com interface?
