where is my blog? Why doean't it appear anymore?

I wanted to change my blog name so the old one didn’t come up. I changed the blog name, now no blog comes up under either name? Where is my blog?

http://drolmasamtenchuling.wordpress.com/ still works for me. Is it not under “My Blogs” on your admin bar?

When I search new url on google I just get the question I’ve asked. rather than a list of tibetan buddhist tags and urls that listed for the old url: corvallisdharma.wordpress.com

You only have three posts on that blog. And new URLs are not indexed by Google. It’s like starting over from zero. Wait. It can take up to several weeks to be indexed.

Changing the URL does exactly that. Google has indexed the old blog, but not the new one yet.

When raincoaster says it works for him how is he accessing the blog? Yes I can look at the admin site, but no one in our group can look at the blog. I sincerely wish the instructions for changing the url had mentioned the 4 to 6 weeks index time. I would have left it alone. Not cool.

By entering the URL directly in the browser address bar. You don’t need a search engine to do that.

just start a new blog – I think you have almost no content – put a note up “we have moved yet again” then put a link to the new blog – don’t change the name – just do a new one –
