Where is my confirmation email?
-
Every time I sign into wordpress I see an alert at the top of my page asking me to “Please Confirm My Email Address”. It says an email was sent. I’ve looked through inbox, outbox, and spam. No email. When I press “Resend Email” nothing ever arrives. Where is this email? Why is it not being resent? I’d like to confirm so I can begin blogging securely. Thank You.

It seems that e-mail address is correctly set on your account.
Could you please follow these instructions and see if that helps you resolve the issue?

Tried that – nothing changed – clearly my email is registered with WP, but that message will not go away. Are there bugs in WP twenty fourteen? Cause so far it seems kind of NOT user friendly

If possible, send me a screenshot, so I can better understand the issue. You can simply upload the screenshot to your Media Library, like any other image, and I’ll be able to access it from there.
The page at the following link has some helpful tips for taking screenshots:

Alright – just uploaded two examples to my media library – one titled “Dashboard” displays the “confirm email” message as it appears on my blogs dashboard, the other titled “WordPress” is the message as it appears when I login from wordpress.com. They are both constant, and I guess I can’t post until those messages are gone.

The issue should be resolved now. Please let us know if you need any further assistance!
