where is my content from posterous?
-
I have moved my blog from Posterous successfully.
I have signed up and paid for my domene helsetine.com that I already own. Is this right?
Now, when I try start using helsetine from WordPress I either do not find the content from Posterous there – or you send me directly to my old blog.
What to do??????????????????????The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It appears that you have a siter redirect from http://helsetine.wordpress.com to http://helsetine.com/ which is still mapped to your Posterous blog. This makes it impossible for volunteers to see if your posterous import has worked, so I will flag with staff assistance.
I would remove the site redirect so that you can easily view the imported content. When you are happy with the content at http://helsetine.wordpress.com you can then follow the instructions in structions in “Map an existing domain in WordPress” to get it to appear at http://helsetine.com/

Hi there, @helsetine!
I took a look at your site, and your domain helsetine.com needs to have its nameservers updated and you will be on your way!
You will need to log in to your account where your domain is registered and update your nameservers to the following:
NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
NS3.WORDPRESS.COMOnce you have done so, you will need to allow between 1 and 48 hours for propagation to occur. Then your domain will be properly pointing towards WordPress.com’s servers. After that, you can go in and update your primary domain by following this help article:

Hi there @amightywp
How do I do this? I logged in at posterous.com where helsetine.com is registered but do npot find a place to update my nameservers.
Should I remove the link to helsetine.com at posterous setting and will that solve the problem?

Hi there,
I’m not entirely sure how you go about changing your nameservers within a Posterous account. You may want to reach out to them for information on how to change that setting. Please also keep in mind that their services are closing at the end of next month, so you may also want to keep your eyes open for a new domain registrar to transfer your domain to. WordPress.com is a domain registrar, but we cannot accept incoming domain transfers, so we can’t help you, but there are a number of other great registrars out there!

Another question here: helsetine.com expired some months ago, and I have bought it again here on wordpress and paid for another year. so then, shouldt it not work?

Hi there, it looks like you only purchased domain mapping, which costs $13, but did not actually register the domain through us – helsetine.com already registered elsewhere through November 4, 2013.
The domain helsetine.com appears to be registered through Enom, which sometimes partners with other companies to offer domain registration services. If Posterous can’t help, you may want to get in touch with Enom to find out how you can log into your domain registration control panel in order to point the name servers to WordPress, and how to transfer your domain from Posterous to another registrar before they shut down operations completely.
Let us know if we can be of further help.
