where is my Domain refund?

    I paid for a Domain through WordPress for my site. And just hours later realized my mistake in the name. So I followed the protocol and cancelled it to get a refund. I’ve been checking the status in WordPress, and 24 hours after canceling it still says, “Cancellation pending”. My concern is that since I only have 48 hours to cancel it and get a refund, what if this doesnt happen tomorrow after another 24 hours? Will I be charged for a domain I am not going to use, even though I followed all the requirements? Please help.

    P.S. I’ve switched back to using the .wordpress.com url. just so that i wont be accused of continuing to use the domain name.

    Your domain has been cancelled. It may take up to a week for the refund to appear on your statement.
