Where is my Draft

I wrote a draft and saved it numerous times. But when I logged back on to WordPress my draft was not there. I hit the save button but not the save draft button. Does it matter which one you click on? Also the was an error message that popped up but I don’t remember what it was.

Hi, there. So just to check, if you go to your dashboard, then “All Posts,” you don’t see your draft there? Knowing the error message might help. Maybe try to recreate the error by writing another post then save it the same way you did before.

I was able to retrieve it. I can’t explain how. I am still learning how to navigate wordpress. There is another problem I am having. I clicked on this vote logo a couple of days ago to add to my front page only to discover that it is huge! How do I get rid of it? I think I need to take a WordPress class. Thanks for you help.

Hey, Pamela.
The “I voted” widget should have gone in a widget area. For your theme, I think the widget areas are supposed to be in the footer. So I’m not sure why it seems to be taking up practically the whole page. If it had been in a widget area, you would simply go to “Widgets” on your dashboard, find it in your list of installed widgets, click on the caret to the right of the widget name, and click “delete.”

You have been so helpful. I appreciate you so much. This idea I have to start a blog is very challenging but I want to get it going and make it the way I have visualized it. It is a slow process and one I haven’t made a lot of time for. I think mainly because I don’t know what I am doing. There is only this idea in my head. I can visualize it but I can’t seem to transfer it to my blog. Thanks again for your help.
