Where is My Hello World?

    Hi,
    I prepared a Hello World narrative of about 350 words and I saw where it was automatically saving it.

    It seemed my narrative disappeared while I went to upload a few photos from my hard drive. Not only that I chose a theme. Both the narrative and theme disappeared and I did not log out.

    What happened and does this always happen?

    Hi Kristen,

    I’m very sorry to hear that. I don’t see any changes made to the default post and page that are published after signing up for a new blog.

    Can you let me know how you accessed the page where you added this info? That will help us try to track this down for you.

    It says my theme is Titan and before when I wrote my narrative it said it was the one I picked, Suburbia. I saw it saving my text, so I went to the add photo page. While I was searching for ones on my hard drive, I decided to go back and check and everything was gone.

    I went back to my WordPress page and filled in all the info, updated it and published it. I closed it down and went to look at the url and nothing took.

    I give up. There are not enough instructions for me to do this. I can’t even get rid of the “just another wordpress.com whatever.

    You actually have 2 blogs on your account. Are you sure that you just aren’t accessing the wrong one?

    As for “just another wordpress.com whatever” you can change that at Settings -> General.
