Where is my poll?

I made a poll. I clicked onto POLLS in the Dashboard and clicked Make a Poll. I created the to question and two answers to choose from. I did all that it told me to do, but I do not see my poll anywhere.
What did I do wrong? What should I do?
Also, are polls meant to go in a Sidebar or in a Post or either?

Ok, I went somewhere and found more instructions and made a poll. I chose a sidebar (tall thin) form, but it ended up in a new post, AND I WAS TOO SMALL TO READ. I deleted it.
I will try again, but…… what have i done wrong? What should I do to get a poll box that is big enough to be read?

If you want to add a PollDaddy poll on to your sidebar, put the text widget in your desired position on your sidebar, then copy the PollDaddy shortcode on to your text widget (in your dashboard, of course)
If you want to add a PollDaddy poll in your post, then simply coppy the shortcode in your post.

Dear leetgamer…… I did that, but the poll box was small and the words correspondingly small……… not easily read at all.

Choose another PollDaddy box !
BTW, if your blog appears small too you probably have accidentally triggered the zoom thing on your blog. Reset your zoom by going to View -> Zoom -> Reset on your browser.
If those don’t work, then I have no idea. You could always zoom in to see the text better (ctrl + direction of mousewheel)

I checked the things that you said before I posted this question. I gave up and deleted the poll.
