where is my post?

  I thought I’d published my most recent post several hours ago. when it didn’t appear on FACEbook, I went back to wordpress and could find no record of the post either in draft or as published. i was only able to locate it by going back in my server’s history. What’s gone wrong? Indeed, it did show it as published, but it’s not showing up.

  When can I expect to have my last issue, regarding the non appearance of a post that shows as published, resolved?

  Is this Page the content you’re looking for?

  https://notoutyetdotcom.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=308&action=edit

  It’s the most recent content on your site and was published 19 hours ago, the timeframe you’ve mentioned.

  Since it’s a Page and not a Post that would explain how it didn’t end up on Facebook via Publicize.

  If that’s not the content, please let me know the title of the post you’re looking for.

  Yes, that’s it. I don’t know how it got to be a page! How can I convert it to a new post? thanks, Dianne

  Hi Dianne,

  There’s not really a way of converting a page to post. I’m afraid you’ll just need to copy+paste the content from the page editor to a post editor.

  Could you let me know if you were using the /wp-admin/ post editor or WordPress.com post editor (at wordpress.com/post) when you were creating this? I once ran into the issue of a post saving as a page somehow and would like to report this to the right folks.
