Where is my post?!

  Hello,

  I worked for HOURS on our latest post and had it just about ready to go only to find it isn’t there. In fact, NONE of the drafts are there. Is there any way to find the last draft for me? It shows nothing in edit and nothing in drafts.

  If the post was created on the dashboard of your own blog at Dashboard > Posts > All Posts > Add New then you ought to be able to recover a lost post or page from revisions if needs be.

  I recommend you:
  Always create your posts on the dashboard of your own blog at
  Dashboard > Posts > All Posts > Add New
  Use an offline blog editor so you have backups on your own computer http://en.support.wordpress.com/xml-rpc/

  Thank you. I had it created in Dashboard, new post, etc. I’ve never had this happen before. Hours and hours of work–it was just about ready to be published. The titled page is there, it even shows I last modified it yesterday, which is true, but there is nothing under drafts, nothing in tags, etc. I am just sick with frustration right now. There’s nothing in trash. The only evidence of its existence is the titled page in all posts (albeit the body is blank!) and the date stamp showing it was last modified yesterday. :(
