where is my refund?

    I requested a refund on January 18th and have yet to receive it. (redacted)

    Hi there!

    You got it! I’ve tagged this as Modlook, so that staff could follow up with you further with this issue, and get you your refund.

    Please keep in mind that refunds take 7-10 Business days depending on your bank, and may take longer in some circumstances.
    And, please note to not share any personal details including credit/debit card information, transaction ID’s, etc, as this is a public forum, and is indexed by Google, which means anyone can see our forums.

  • alissonhz – thanks for tagging this one. If you see that someone has posted sensitive information like a phone number, card number, email, receipt or transaction id — go ahead and add a tag to indicate that. It’s a nice double check system for staff to make sure they don’t overlook redacting that sensitive information. Something like, “remove sensitive data” will work. Thanks :)

    Thanks for getting in touch. You’ll see that I removed the receipt id from your original post. This is to help protect your online security. It’s a bit of information unique to only your account.

    I can see that we processed a refund of C$60.00 back on January 19th, 2017. Typically it only takes about 10 days for international refunds. Sometimes it can take up to 1-2 billing cycles for your bank to release the money. You’ll want to contact them to inquire further as we released those funds back on Jan 19th.

    Hi again, yes, I understand. What I was trying to say is that we have an established tag for such situations and I monitor the “remove personal info” tag so as to remove the sensitive information as quickly as possible. Thanks again. :) Cheers.
