where is my saved draft?!

  I wrote a post, clicked ‘save draft’, then worked on getting images into it. I didn’t like the images I’d chosen, so I clicked ‘delete’, and it deleted the whole unpublished post. Now it isn’t showing that post under drafts. Is it gone forever, even though I ‘save draft’ed?
