  I went to the site. It’s my site, but all of my information is gone. What do I do? I don’t want to upgrade if my site is gone. What happens when your site expires?

  Sites do not expire. Upgrades expire. Your custom domain may expire, but your blog will still be at https://wherehaspollygonedotcom.wordpress.com/

  http://wherehaspollygone.com/ is a custom domain you have attached to that site.

  The site has quite a bit of info in it – when an upgrade expires it just stops working – in your case the domain name would go back to the base blog name – https://wherehaspollygonedotcom.wordpress.com/ – nothing is lost except the domain name – but since the site is indexed by search engines with the custom domain name – they won’t be able to find it for a while until you do some more blogging and the search engines get used to the old name / URL

  It looks like your domain wherehaspollygone.com is indeed associated with the WordPress.com site at wherehaspollygonedotcom.wordpress.com, and the domain expires on August 3, 2014, but the site and the domain upgrade are owned by a different WordPress.com user.

  It looks like you may have two different accounts, so please try logging out of wherehaspollygone and into your other account to find that upgrade and be able to renew the domain before it expires.
