where is my site

Hi – I seem to have lost my site. Recently my domain name was linked to my new web page with Crazy domains. It had been linked to my blog at WordPress. Now I can’t access my blog home page as I am automatically directed to my website. I want to send my graphic designer a link to my blog to add as a link on my website. Im lost and confused!!!!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

ps the blog I need help with is kerynlc@wordpress aka bloomindesign and NOT kerynclark.wordpress.com which is Vintage Cakes.

    Hi!

Happy to help sort this out. It looks like you have two similar domains mapped to the site kerynlc.wordpress.com:

    bloombydesign.com.au

    bloomindesign.com.au

The former is being redirected to bloomindesign.com.au.

To get these domains to display your site kerynlc.wordpress.com, we’ll need to change the name servers as instructed here:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/#how-to-change-your-name-servers

You will need to do that at your registrar (where you purchased the domains). Can you give that a try?

HI Jeremey – thanks for your response. I will give that a bash and see what happens.

HI Jeremy – I followed the link you gave and think you misunderstood my problem My domain name is currently linked to Crazy Domains as I am in the process of setting up a website. Because it was pointed to WordPress, when the switch was made, my wordpress blog vanished and I can’t seem to get the link back – it simply diverts to the domain name. My web-builder is trying to link it to my webpage with a button but can’t do so because it keeps jumping to the webpage. I need to uncouple the blog so that it can be relinked via a button – if that makes sense – but can’t get the link to do this.

    Hi Keryn,

I believe I understand what we’re going for. You need access to bloomindesignaustralia.wordpress.com. Since the domains are being setup elsewhere and your .wordpress.com domain redirects to your custom domains, you can’t access the .wordpress.com blog any longer. Is that correct?

I went ahead and changed the primary domain on the account so that bloomindesignaustralia.wordpress.com should now work. You should be able to access your blog now. Can you give this a shot?
