As per subject, my site is gone. The domain expired and it got renewed a week ago. Where is my site?

Thought I added that to the original post. The site is https://fnanfne.com. Thanks for the reply staartmees but I got to the bottom of it. Looks like my site is hosted on Hostinger, and the domain on Squarespace, not too sure where WordPress comes in to the picture but I recall building my site with it, I ever remember the URL I always used to edit my site as https://fnanfne.com/wp-admin. When I logged into Hostinger, I got a message saying there’s a problem with the domain and I had to ‘link’ it again using custom DNS on my domain’s provider. Minutes after I added the suggested names servers, the site automagically popped up again. There are too many cogs involved here, would be soooo much better if I just use ONE provider for all of this lol, will defo have a problem again when the domain expires in a few years.

Your account here at WordPress.com and the empty site https://fnanfne.wordpress.com/ is a totally different thing to a site at some other provider that just happens to be built with the wordpress software.

I don’t know where https://fnanfne.wordpress.com/ comes from, that was auto populated when I made this post, I was also unable to include my site. However, If you look very carefully, you might see that I included my site address in a subsequent reply to staartmees.

To me, https://fnanfne.com/ is up and running. You can login at https://fnanfne.com/wp-login.php using the credentials you choose when you set up that site. Mind: those login credentials are not those of your wordpress.com account.

Should mention if anyone else has this issue, that I figured it out by using mxtoolbox and checking where the A record was.
