Where is my website

  I cannot find my website. I transferred url to squarespace, but now even the default url from wordpress is not showing anything there and I’m not able to login either. thegathering.wordpress.com previously gatherasheville.org. I was hosting a podcast and now don’t have access to update or transfer!

  I know. I moved the site to square space but did not delete the original wordpress which is why i don’t understand why it doesn’t exist anymore. Is there any way to recover that content? It was hosting my podcast.

  Hi there,

  The domain, gatherasheville.org, has never been connected to any WordPress.com site.

  Before you pointed the domain to Squarespace, that domain was hosted with GoDaddy, so you had a self-hosted site using the WordPress.ORG software at that domain. That means your site content you’re looking for is probably still on GoDaddy’s servers, and you’ll need to contact their support to get it back.

  Most likely this will require pointing your domain back to GoDaddy, exporting your content, importing it to Squarespace, and only then point the domain back to Squarespace. But we have no access to your files with GoDaddy, so we’re not able to help with this.
