Where is my wordpress email inbox

  I’ve started to set up a wordpress website and email. I’ve been sent a verification email to my wordpress email address but I cannot find my inbox to verify the account and finish setting it up. Can you help?

  There is no email inbox maintained by WordPress.com for you. WordPress.com provides only e-mail forwarding which is not what you are after.

  The verification email might have been sent to the email address that’s on your WordPress.com account. Have you checked it?

  Thank you for replying. I foolishly listed a wordpress email address on the basis that it would set one up for me, but I’ve since realised what you have mentioned. I’ve rectified the issue and it is now working. Thanks again
