Where is the “About” sidebar widget?

  In the example of the theme I chose (Misty) chose for my blog, I see an mini-About with a graphic on the first page. However, I cannot figure out how to create one.

  I have searched in all the help areas of WordPress and can’t find anything about how to create an “About”.

  i’m not sure if misty has a builtin about sidebar like the andreas04 theme, but you can easily make one using a text widget.

  Thanks, but how do I modify the text widget to look like the About example on the Misty template? I am new at this.
