Where is the auto-renew option?
-
I received mail about the new Custom Design upgrade. The mail included the sentence:
Note: to take advantage of the coupon your account should be set to
auto-renew the upgrade each year, which you can change in your
dashboard under “Upgrades”.1) I cannot see anything to do with auto-renew on the Upgrades page.
2) Under “Products available on this blog which have been purchased by other members of the blog” an upgrade is listed with my name as purchaser but it doesn’t say which blog it refers to. The expiry is the same date as one under “My Subscriptions”. Is the upgrade under “Blog Subscriptions” a duplicate of one in “My Subscriptions”? If so, it’s very confusing as it implies I have another upgrade.
I am using Firefox 3.0.13 on Linux. Is it a browser issue? If so, billing-related things should not be dependent on have the latest browser version. (I can’t update my browser any time soon as it means rebuilding my computer with latest O/S.)

Unfortunately, auto-renew is only available for purchases made via credit card.
As your upgrades were purchased via PayPal, auto-renew cannot be enabled.

Regarding the Custom Design upgrade offer, we’ll need to make some changes. Since your upgrades don’t expire until August at the earliest, we have a bit of time. We’ll keep you posted as we look into this.
-
Update: We’ve fixed things up so that you’ll get the coupon automatically when you renew.
You don’t have to enter a code or coupon, just renew the upgrade as you would normally and the coupon will be applied to your transaction.
(Note: will only work if you purchased the Custom CSS subscription in the past year.)
