Where is the Comment button?
-
The visitors to my blog are asking me, “where is the Comment button?”
Well, I logged out and visited my own blog as an outsider, I couldn’t find the Comment button.
Does this involve css?
I am using scratchpad theme. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There isn’t a “comment button” in Scratchpad — visitors can add comments at the bottom of the single post.

Looks like you already have some comments, such as on this post:

Yes, Kathrynwp! Those comments came when I was using the Flounder theme. Recently I had changed to scratchpad theme. I find to my dismay that Comment is not possible on the Post in this theme.
As you say, it is indeed possible to comment on the single page of the post. That means one has to click over the single page for posting comment and that comment will not be visible when you look at the Post first. Something strange! -
I definitely hear you. Some themes display a link to “leave a comment” or a number of comments in a word bubble, but some don’t, in order to keep the blog page design cleaner. Scratchpad is a theme that doesn’t — it’s got a lot going on visually already, so it’s a decision the designer made to not have one.
If you prefer a theme that has an explicit comment link on the blog page, you’d need to choose a theme that has that included as part of its design.
