Where is the delete site function?

    Hello,
    In the new dashboard, it is not possible to delete a site. It’s not the first time that I’ve made a site that I can use to do some testing and I have always managed to delete it when I don’t need it anymore without any worries. In the Tools section, below export there is no longer the mention delete the site
    . I thought it had been put somewhere else but I can’t find it … We can only delete the account, which I don’t want to do of course ..
    Please tell me if you plan to add it later or if it is final.

    Yes WordPress.com are forever tinkering with the layout. If you are in wp/admin you need to return to the Callypso dasboard via https://wordpress.com/me/account where there is a box to untick “advanced settings” (Ironic they’re calling wp/admin advanced now!!)
    Then when you’re back in the Calypso dashboard the option to delete the site will be in Settings/General.
    PS: Personally I prefer to set test sites to private rather than deleting them. I hate the fact that blah.blah.wordpress.com has been deleted by the owner will display for ever more on the Interweb and depending on how similar the deleted address is to your main site could have repercussions later.
    PPS: To staff is this missing delete opion an accident or intentional?

    You should be able to delete an individual site in a sites individual settings.

    Just to check, have you seen this guide on how to delete a site here: https://wordpress.com/support/delete-site/ ?

    Thank you both for your help, even if your answers came to nothing.
    I finally managed to find him. I’ll explain it to you, but it really isn’t. In fact, you have to enter the URL: https://wordpress.com/settings/general/etlenomdusite there we arrive on the Settings page,
    which is not the same as clicking on settings from the dashboard !!!! That’s why it’s nowhere to be found.
    Once you are on this settings page, on the general tab, you can delete the site by going all the way down.
    In fact the path you have to take from the dashboard to find this page is:
    Settings, read, scroll down until you find: Infinite scrolling behavior and there is a link that allows you to find this settings page by clicking on general.
    So it’s easier to type the URL directly to get there.
    There you go, it may be of interest to other people.
