    Hi,
I am new to WordPress (have been using Blogger for years) & I’m having a little difficulty finding the Editor on my dashboard.

All I wanted to do was add a meta tag to my blog so that it can be Pinterest verified, but alas I don’t have an editor that will allow me to add the meta tag to the head of the blog.

    Can anyone help me please?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

This is a multi-user blogging platform. Our blogs share a common architecture. We WordPress.COM bloggers cannot access metadata and insert anything intop the <header>. http://en.blog.wordpress.com/2013/03/22/seo-on-wordpress-com/
WordPress.com SEO is very good. If you had two identical sites, one hosted here and one self-hosted using that same plugin, the site hosted here would have better SEO than the self-hosted site. WordPress.com has huge SEO and you get the benefit of that by having your site as a “subdomain” here.

    Added information:
The follow the Pinterest Site Verification instructions provided in the support docs which are all at http://support.wordpress.com
    Go to http://en.support.wordpress.com/webmaster-tools/#pinterest-site-verification

Note that The pin it button is JavaScript and cannot be used on WordPress.COM hosted blogs.

Go to Dashboard > Sharing please and use this guide http://en.support.wordpress.com/sharing/#customize-your-services to enable a sharing icon so it will display under each post.

Be aware that there is a browser add-on visitors can use to pin images.
