Where is the "install template" tab

  Hi I have a WordPress compatible template to upload to my account, and all instructions say “go to Appearances / Themes / Install theme tab” but for the life of me I cannot find the “install theme tab”

  can anyone point me to it? a link would be great but if its unique to my account a description of where it physically sits on the page would be very appreciated, I guess I’ve got a blind spot b/c I’ve looked all over

  You’ve been reading the wrong instructions: such instructions are for self-hosted sites. On wordpress.com you can only use the themes you can find in Appearance > Themes.
