where is the Links menu item in the Admin dashboard?

  There should be a Links item in the Admin dashboard between Posts and Media.

  Hi there, There is a change in navigation being rolled out on WordPress.com.   To return to having *mostly* the older dashboard pages (WP Admin), including the Links Manager if you had links there previously, head to your Account settings and turn on Show advanced dashboard pages in Interface Settings> Dashboard Appearance https://wordpress.com/me/account Make sure to click the “Save Interface Settings” button towards the bottom, below the thumbnails of the various color options.
