Where is the rest of my refund? or can I get my site reinstated?

Why was I only refunded $9.88 when I paid $35.88 ? I worked some more on the site and figured out the stuff that was bothering me. I was tired and was having a hard time so I asked for a refund. is there a way to reinstate my domain name that wont cost me another $35.88? Please let me know

Not to worry.Which upgrade did you cancel, and when did you cancel and request a refund?
There are no pro-rated refunds so be clear on that. Refunds https://en.support.wordpress.com/refunds/ are time limited.
WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund from date of purchase on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers.
The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours.
It takes from 1 – 2 weeks or 7 – 10 business days for the refund to be received after canceling an upgrade and requesting one.Do you intend to use the domain on another site?
Or do you wish to completely give up ownership of it?It is important to know that cancelled domains are not released by the registrar immediately. Also note that here’s no guarantee you’ll be able to use a domain again as it may be sold to someone else. Therefore you should cancel a domain, if and only if, you are sure you do not wish to use it again.

The domain is keneverettarts.com, and I would like to use it. I was frustrated trying to set up the site, and I canceled it. With a good nights sleep I was able to make headway on my site the next day and that’s when I thought maybe I should try to get the domain back and use WordPress as my main site. I looked for a way, but I would have to pay for the personal plan again.
I know that this is all on me and my temper but I was hoping maybe I could get a start over:)

Hi there,
Your domain has already been removed from our system, so it’s not possible for us to restore it any more. It should be possible to register again, provided no one else has bought it in the meantime. If you still want to use the domain with a WordPress.com site, you’ll need to buy a plan again before you can re-register the domain.
We have two options in that case:
1) I can add the value of the domain as credits to your account which will serve as a discount when you re-purchase the Personal Plan
2) I can refund you the outstanding amount, and then you can register the domain somewhere else if you want to use it with a different hosting provider/blogging service instead.
Which would you prefer?

I’ve added those credits to your account. Please go to My Site ->Plans to buy the plan again, and then to My Site ->Domains to re-register the domain. You can also register a different domain if you prefer.
