where is the root folder

  Hi, I am new to wordpress and I intalled the gallery pluggin, downloaded images but once i am trying to find those images to add them to my gallery i am said they are in the root folder.where can i access this one and download the saved pictures in my gallery?

  If you are installing plugins, you need to head over to the WordPress.org forums as that is where self-hosted wordpress blogs using the software from wordpress.ORG are supported.

  These forums are for those hosted here on the wordpress.COM free hosting service and things here work differently.
