Where is the “settings” button

I have searched the forums and looked at the support pages, and for the live of me I cannot find the settings button under the dashboard menu choice. Any suggestions? I am on the wordpress.com site if any needs the information, NOT .org.

I can see “Settings” on my dashboard array in the bottom module on the left hand side.

I think what you are describing is the Global Dashboard and not the dashboard for your blog http://dashboard.wordpress.com/wp-admin/
